Introduction to the Group
The group was formed in 1987 and is run by a committee of elected volunteers, all keen to share their interest and enthusiasm for birdwatching and nature conservation. Although based in Boston, we cover the towns and surrounding areas of Skegness, Horncastle, Woodhall Spa, Sleaford, Spalding and Holbeach. We are one of about 170 groups around the UK that aim to raise awareness and promote the activities of the RSPB in the local community. We raise funds through our varied events, encourage people to take an interest in birds and nature conservation and bring together like minded people in a friendly and social atmosphere.
